Education and Outreach
Teaching Experience
I teach creative nonfiction at Pittsburgh CAPA High School and facilitate a writing workshop for LGBTQ+ teens via Write Pittsburgh.
I have built curriculums for personal essay, journalism, short-form nonfiction, place-based writing, food-writing, poetry, and playwriting for writers of all age levels and abilities.
Act 33
For five years I facilitated writing workshops for adults and teens at the Allegheny County Jail through Chatham University's Words Without Walls Program. I taught weekly writing workshops, assembled chapbooks, and facilitated readings of student work.

With the juvenile class, I acted as the dramaturg for a collaborative play titled Act 33, which was performed by Pittsburgh's Alumni Theater Company. You can watch the play here.
Manuscript Consultations
I offer one-on-one manuscript consultations on a sliding scale for prose writing projects. I can offer general feedback, suggestions for revision, and line edits, depending on the needs of your project.
